Our application process
The following recruitment process has proven successful for us, but we also recognize that some positions require a deviation from the standard process. Interview with our People & Operations Team
In a first video call, we would like to get to know the person behind the resume. We want to understand what drives you and what experiences you can bring to the respective position. At the same time, you'll receive comprehensive information about Avelios and we'll answer all your questions.
Processing a job-specific case
Next, you'll have the opportunity to prove your skills and we'll share a case with you to work on. We try to ensure that the case is as closely based as possible on the actual tasks of the position. This allows us to get a good impression of your skills and in turn gives you a realistic impression of the tasks that would come your way.


Presentation of results and discussion
As a final step, we invite you to an interview with a colleague from the department and/or your manager. If possible, we will arrange this interview in our office so that you get an impression of the working environment at the same time and we can also get to know each other in person. You will once again have the opportunity to present your results and you will have a technical discussion on the given topic together. Here, too, you will of course have the opportunity to answer your questions again.

What is the compensation package at Avelios?
Our compensation package consists of 3 parts: salary, virtual company shares (for permanent employees) and benefits.
What is Avelios' Employee Stock Option Program?
It is an employee participation program and gives you the opportunity to participate in Avelios' success. Because through your commitment, you are making an enormously important contribution to our growth and, of course, you should also benefit from this. The virtual options therefore give you the right to payment of a sum of money if the exercise requirements are met. The amount depends on the company's valuation at this point in time. We will be happy to provide you with more details during the recruiting process.
What does the onboarding process at Avelios look like?
Our onboarding process is designed to help you get up to speed quickly and feel integrated from day one. You begin with an onboarding meeting and a structured Notion guide that walks you through our tools, workflows, and key company information. Your team then provides a thorough, role-specific introduction so you can settle into your responsibilities. All new joiners also take part in our quarterly Vision & Mission session with our founders, which offers a direct look at our direction and a chance to connect with them personally.
